RBT (Reality-Base Training) refers to a systems of self-defense that focus exclusively on reality based self-defense scenarios and conditions. Hence the words “reality-base”. Our Tran’s Martial Arts reality-base system combines Muay Thai and Krav Maga.
Developed over hundreds of years, the ancient martial art of Muay Thai is known for its tremendous power, maximum efficiency, and raw simplicity. Often referred to as the Art of Eight Limbs , Muay Thai utilizes a beautiful symphony of kicks, punches, knees, and elbows with fluidity and grace.
Muay Thai is now one of the most well-known and practiced martial arts in the world. It has proven to be effective, which is why it is most common striking base in the vastly popular, fast-growing sport of mixed martial arts.
Krav Maga is the official self defense system of the Israeli Defense Forces, and has been taught to hundreds of law enforcement agencies and thousands of civilians in the United States.
Krav Maga techniques are designed to be easy to learn and extremely effective. The system brings students to a high level of skill in a relatively short period of time.
Krav Maga is considered a modern, highly refined, street fighting system, designed to be used against armed and unarmed attackers. Krav Maga addresses a wide variety of aggressive acts including punches, kicks, chokes, bearhugs, headlocks, and grabs, as well as defenses against multiple attackers and assailants armed with a firearm, edged weapon, or blunt object.
